Cliff is on a mission to bring flat fee financial planning to more households. He lives in Denville, NJ, and has his office in the neighboring town of Parsippany. As a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Enrolled Agent (EA) with nearly a decade of experience at top firms such as Vanguard and Fidelity.

Cliff saw how financial advising was done at an early age when he was in high school. His mother became a widow when he was a senior, and his sister was a freshman. His father was the sole earner in the house and after his passing it was a tough financial time. He learned the confidence his mother gained from having an advisor but also learned the costs not only of high fees but also poor advice. A flat fee structure eliminates many conflicts of interest and hidden fees.

He believes financial advice is important to help individuals make big life decisions, but currently most of the industry does not utilize a flat fee model and still views advisors as salesmen rather than planners. This results in clients feeling they are being sold to rather than planned for. That’s why his fees are transparent and easy to understand, since it is important to know you are getting what you paid for. He is bringing a new style of planning based around transparency and a holistic approach to financial planning not based upon product sales.

As for Cliff personally, he and his wife Charly are big football fans and have season tickets to the New York Giants. He loves to play sports. He plays softball in the summer with a few of his long-time high school friends and volleyball with his sister, Alyson, year-round. They participate in the Indian Lake Volleyball Fundraiser Tournament each year. In the summer he also enjoys spending time with his family, having a nice BBQ after a day relaxing and swimming in the pool.
